TEACHABLE Beginnings

The concept for teachable came late one night after another long session of
thinking about my life's purpose and aspirations. I have a lot, so this is not a seldom occourence.
I love to travel. And my philosophy towards travel has always been a simple one.
To delve beyond traditional tourism and truly experience life and culture wherever I may be. To document each excursion to the fullest. To travel efficiently, effectively, and economically.

I thought how magnificent it would be to have the ability to learn all the
fantastic things that make each destination unique- the iconic skills and trades
that make it touristic. What makes people want to visit? The ideas started
pouring in. One led to the other as I pondered places I would like to go and
matched them up with the outstanding traits that I would like to learn. Gondaleering in Venice! Can-Can at the Moulin Rouge! Geisha in Tokyo! Scuba Diving in Australia! Making Pizza in New York City! And so many more. And, of course, documenting all the way. It would make a great TV show...
I love trying new things. I want to learn those things! I want to be taught!
I wanted to be TEACHABLE.
There was so much potential. I thought it would be the trip of a lifetime, not to
mention fresh and thought provoking programming that I would love to tune in and watch. It wasn't "Samantha Brown Visits Another Great Hotel" or "This Guy Eats Weird Stuff" - it was a virtual lesson in travel, highlighting a culture's
history and fame. As well as a lesson on some of the most iconic and longstanding talents in the
world!
An idea was born, a dream awakened. Now, how do I make it happen...
