Groan Up
I've killed this plant before.
Or I thought I had, five times now, at least. It wilts and droops when I forget to spray it on my way in or out of the front door and sits pitifully, getting scorched by the sun until I scoop it up and drench it in water.
I bring it back to life nearly every weekend.

I bring it back to life nearly every weekend.
It is just lettuce that I bought at the store, chopped off the root and plopped into a pot. The vast majority of my "garden" is offshoots from other plants or progeny of vegetables I cooked. It probably wasn't meant to grow.
But here it sits.
Alive.
Alive.
So too are little bits of ourselves that we thought were dead. Those pieces that we often forget to water. The parts that sometimes you feel like the world is slowly killing. They will grow back, they just need to be taken care of. Perhaps you need a bigger pot, more earth, more sunshine.
Find what refills you. Maybe it will take more than a weekend and maybe it has to happen 500 times...
But never stop growing.
